I’ve spent the last 15 years working on and living America’s relationship with the Muslim World as a writer, government official, and development professional. I always felt as if we needed more “everyday” Americans involved in that relationship, and we launched America’s Unofficial Ambassadors (AUA) at Creative Learning in 2011. I’m the founder and director of AUA, an initiative that is increasing the number of Americans who volunteer in human development in the Muslim World.
